Since its inception as partnership in 1981 and incorporation
in 1985, AMSCL continues to improve healthcare and deliver
to the medical professionals in China, Hong Kong and Macau
innovative, industry-leading, quality niche medical equipment
and supplies. Combined with many years of field experience,
excellent customer service, know-how and committed staff;
we aspire to be the local leader in promoting and bringing
revolutionary, unique, breakthrough technologies into
clinical practice. With these tools, medical professionals
can administer the highest standard of treatment leading
towards the improvement of the patient's well-being and
quality of life. This is clearly our goal, bringing quality
healthcare to the people who need it the most.
AMSCL focuses its core business on clinical specialties
such as urology, gynaecology, renal care, cardiology,
blood-banking and therapeutics, and surgery; and other
hospital services such as rehabilitation which consist
of physiotherapy and occupational therapy, occupational
safety and staff wellness, hospital furniture and clinic
design and reference instruments for biomedical engineers.
Our operations are divided into three key functional
departments:
1. Sales and marketing
2. Engineering and service
3. Training and Administration
The Engineering and Service department is core for the
introduction of niche medical products into the territories
we cover; this includes medical devices that require
installation, preventative maintenance and service,
trouble-shooting and technical advice. With our experienced
and well-trained engineers, AMSCL is able to respond
to customer's request and resolve the technical issues
with minimal downtime. Our service department is a regional
and authorized service center for many of our principals
product which we exclusively distribute.
Our sales and marketing department comprises of qualified
and experienced sales representatives and product specialists
who have foundations in biomedical engineering, life
sciences and business management. From continuous in-house
training, self-initiated learning and knowledge sharing,
attending overseas and local training from our principals,
we can effectively promote our niche medical products
to the professional medical community. However, our
dialogue and marketing communications with the end-users
consist of detailing and rendering education to ensure
that the relevant devices achieve the intended therapeutic
efficacy and safety. Our after-sale service also continues
by following-up to the end-users comments and complaints
which enhances a continuous relationship and trust.
As a result, these two departments build the synergy
effect and drive the motor of our business operations
and sets a trend in healthcare regionally but is solidly
backed up with a professional administrative staff in
regulatory affairs, accounting, logistics and customer
service. This is how we can achieve our standing as
an ISO9001 organization, and having a solid foundation
with longevity of 30 years and running in the Hong Kong
and Asia Pacific healthcare market. One of our subsidiaries
is a licensed medical device manufacturer accredited
with ISO 13485.
